smartExpress is our solution for CEP (courier express parcel) integration, which works in both SAP ERP and SAP EWM. With smartExpress, you can integrate all standard CEP service providers - and additional ones if required - directly into the SAP packing station. A simple click on the print button automatically checks defined criteria and selects the optimum CEP service provider for the shipping unit. smartExpress sends the relevant data to the CEP service provider's interface and registers the parcel there. The generated parcel label is printed out at the packing table.
Thanks to cloud integration, we can react flexibly and centrally to changes, such as updates to CEP service provider interfaces. In the warehouse management monitor, you have an overview of all relevant information and can view the print status and possible errors.
smartExpress offers these advantages:
- CEP label creation (courier express parcel service) based on handling units from SAP ERP or SAP EWM
- Single-click function at the packing table: all relevant data is processed automatically to register the parcel with the CEP service provider and generate the label
- Supports drop shipments with the option of printing labels on behalf of external companies
- Cloud server as communication middleware to CEP service providers in order to be able to react centrally and efficiently to interface changes without interfering with the SAP system
- Status overview of the labels in the warehouse management monitor with various other functions (reprinting, creation of the returns label, etc.)
