With the preference calculation, we can now calculate all existing parts lists and benefit from transparent, secure processes.

The challenge

Minimally invasive diagnostics and therapy in human medicine - Richard Wolf offers innovative solutions for endoscopy and extracorporeal shock wave treatment. In order to make its products and systems accessible to doctors, patients and technicians all over the world, the long-established company from Knittlingen relies on SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). What was missing until now, however, was the preference calculation. CPRO conlog supported Richard Wolf with the introduction.

The solution

The consulting and implementation partner was faced with the challenge of mapping Richard Wolf's special, non-standardised processes and enabling holistic preference calculation across all processes. And because the SAP standard does not provide for sales BOM costing, various in-house programmes were also required. During the project, the SAP experts had to cope with low manpower capacities on the part of the customer and a tight schedule.

The project's success

Finally, Richard Wolf was delighted with an easily comprehensible system. The company can now calculate all existing parts lists and benefits from greater process transparency. There is also a high degree of integration with the existing ERP system. "The system is coherent and we can work really well with it. It offers us absolute process reliability and the in-house developed sales parts lists are a great benefit," explains Nicole Heim, Customs and Preferences employee at Richard Wolf GmbH. CPRO conlog continues to support the system as part of SAP Application Management Services (AMS).
