The challenge
They are used in logistics and theatre technology, in the food sector, in the steel industry and in bulk goods handling - the drive solutions from Getriebebau NORD. As one of the largest manufacturers of drive technology in the world, secure customs and foreign trade processes are crucial. The North German company relies on Application Management Services (AMS) for SAP GTS with CPRO conlog as its partner.
The solution
Getriebebau NORD needed fast and competent support for various problems; confidence in the SAP GTS system was dwindling noticeably. Many in-house developments, release changes, patches - the programmes were crashing. Another major challenge at Getriebebau NORD is the plant-related preference calculation (across numerous European plants) in processing. In addition, there is the complex and time-consuming request/issue of supplier declarations with the automatic booking among each other - here, error corrections and optimisations were required.
The project's success
One AMS service provider change (to CPRO conlog) and a few programme analyses later, the SAP GTS system was already of a completely different quality. "We had various problems with our system and were very dissatisfied. With the help of CPRO conlog, we were finally able to regain an understanding of our processes. The consultants and developers respond very quickly and have helped us to achieve greater process reliability," explains Thomas Niemann, Global Head of Business Processes and Applications, Getriebebau NORD GmbH & Co. KG. In addition to the ongoing SAP GTS support, Getriebebau NORD is planning further projects with CPRO conlog.
